World Youth Day 2027 with Pope Leo XIV

Are you interested in travelling on the diocesan youth pilgrimage to Korea for World Youth Day in 2027? The diocese has now opened applications from parishioners who will be aged 19 – 30 at the time of the event.

Travel dates are departing Dublin on 27 July – and returning to Dublin on 13 August 2027, approx.

The estimated cost of this pilgrimage is €1,500 per person sharing, plus flights and travel insurance. There will be opportunities for each pilgrim to fundraise, with the support of our diocesan Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, Sinead.

For full information and to apply, email Sheena at info@achonryelphin.ie with your name, age and parish.

This pilgrimage is jointly organised by the Dioceses of Achonry & Elphin; and the Dioceses of Clonferty & Galway, led by Bishop Michael Duignan. Our combined group will be 30 people – leaders, priests and young pilgrims.
